SRI VENKATESH PRASAD - HEAD OF CRICKET OPERATIONS HCA
Sri Bapu Krishnarao Venkatesh Prasad, former Indian Cricket Star bowler with 96 test wicket and 196 ODI wickets in his career from 1993-2003 is appointed as Head of Cricket Operations at HCA. His invaluable experience as a Cricketer and bowling coach will be of great help in bringing back the glory of Hyderabad Cricket.
This is another feather in the Apex Council’s Cap in their quest for revival of Hyderabad Cricket. The season 24-25 started for Hyderabad Team on a right step when it won the TNCA’s All India Buchi Babu Cricket Tournament 2024-25 convincingly.

The Hyderabad Cricket Association is inviting applications from Streamers/Video Recording for HCA League matches for the season 2025-26.
Requirement is as follows:
1. Video Recording/Streaming for the matches with both ends covering (Far & Near) 02 Camera’s with Internet Facility for Live Streaming.
2. Uploading of Data in hca website.
3. Storing of the Match data and providing particular videos whenever hca requires.
Interested can send their applications with their quotations at RGICS Uppal Stadium (Inward Section). The last date of application to be submitted is 16th June 2025 @05:00 PM.

TELANGANA CA W.P. No.27896/2024 v HCA - ORDER STAYED
PRESS NOTE : 30-04-2025
In the month of September, 2024, the Telangana Cricket Association, has filed W.P. No.27896/2024, seeking investigation by the CBI into the alleged financial irregularities of the Hyderabad Cricket Association. In December, 2025, the Hyderabad Cricket Association has filed its counter and opposed the claim of the Telangana Cricket Association and stated that the Association has already initiated criminal action against the erstwhile office bearers, the present body assumed its charge on 23-10-2023 and there are no allegations against it. On 21-04-2025, the Learned Single Judge, passed interim orders directing the Hyderabad Cricket Association not to take any administrative or policy decisions involving financial matters, except for payment of salaries to its employees and other day-to-day expenses of the Association.
Questioning the above interim orders dated 21-04-2025, the Hyderabad Cricket Association, has filed W.A. No.505/2025 before the Hon’ble Division Bench of the High Court at Hyderabad. On 30-04-2025, after hearing the counsels, the Hon’ble Division Bench of High Court at Hyderabad stayed the above interim orders till 09-06-2025.

By order dated 12.09.2024, the Hon'ble High Court appointed me as 'Supervisory Committee' to undertake the exercise of conducting league matches for the cricket season 2024-25. The order of the Hon'ble High Court was communicated to me by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA). I assumed charge on 15.10.2025. To familiarize with the systems adopted by HCA, I have visited the office of the HCA and interacted with the Office Bearers of HCA, the CEO and some of the staff members and obtained inputs from them on basic aspects concerning conducting of league matches

RESOLUTION OF SRH & HCA REPORTED ISSUES IN MEDIA
PRESS RELEASE 2025-26
In response to various reports circulating in mainstream and digital media regarding issues between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA), HCA Secretary Mr. R. Devraj convened a meeting with SRH officials today at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium. The meeting was attended by SRH representatives Mr. Kiran, Mr. Saravanan, and Mr. Rohit Suresh. During the discussions, SRH proposed strictly adhering to the existing tri-party agreement between SRH, HCA, and BCCI, ensuring that 10% of the available stadium capacity across all sections is allocated accordingly. HCA, in turn, proposed maintaining the existing allocation of passes in each category, in line with the long-standing practice followed over the years. Following in-depth discussions and further telephonic deliberations with SRH CEO Mr. Shanmugam, the following resolution was agreed upon: HCA has assured SRH that they will fully cooperate with SRH in a professional manner. With this meeting, we have resolved all our outstanding issues. HCA and SRH remain committed to working together amicably to enhance the spectator experience at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium. |

Hon’ble Secretary of the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA), Sri R. Devraj, met with the family of senior politician and Advisor to the Telangana Government, Sri K. Keshav Rao Garu, along with the Hon’ble Mayor of Hyderabad, Smt. Gadwal Vijayalakshmi, and Sri K. Viplav Kumar, at their residence to extend Ugadi festival greetings.
On this occasion, Sri Devraj presented an ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Team India jersey, signed by India Captain Rohit Sharma, as a token of appreciation. Notably, Sri Devraj served as the Team Manager for India during the tournament.
During the meeting, Sri Devraj exchanged pleasantries with the family and expressed his gratitude to the Telangana Government and the Hon’ble Mayor for their continued support in facilitating the smooth conduct of IPL matches hosted by HCA at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium.
He also conveyed his sincere appreciation to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana, Sri Revanth Reddy Garu, for his commitment to sports development and the ongoing efforts toward the allocation of land for a new cricket stadium in the state

HCA: COMMITTEE TO DISCUSS WITH TELANGANA CA
In the Emergent Apex Council Meeting held on 13.03.2025, the Apex Council of the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) has resolved to constitute a committee to represent HCA in discussions with the Telangana Cricket Association (TCA). This committee will engage with TCA to understand their concerns regarding the development of cricket in the state of Telangana (outside the city of Hyderabad), in compliance with the BCCI Order dated 11.07.2021.
